My Top 5 Dining Rooms in Toronto for 2025
With my extensive experience as an EA to CEOs and working with boards, I know the anxiety of booking spaces for dinners. The food has to be fantastic, but the logistics—privacy, acoustics, flow, and service—matter even more.
After 15 years of scouting locations and managing executive retreats, I have curated my top 5 picks for 2025. These are the spaces (and the people behind them) that deliver white-glove execution, every time.
1. Estiatorio Milos (The Discretion Choice)
If your executive requires absolute privacy or security, Milos is the gold standard.
The Logistics: It features its own private entrance directly from the street, so your guests can bypass the main dining room entirely.
The Contact: Vanessa Mancini, VP of Events, is absolutely amazing. She pays incredible attention to detail and ensures the event runs smoothly from start to finish. When she is on it, I know the execution will be flawless.
The Menu: You must order the Milos Special—that iconic tower of paper-thin fried zucchini and eggplant with tzatziki and saganaki. And for the finish? The Ekmek Kataifi. It is traditional, elegant, and hands-down the best version of this custard and pistachio dessert I have tasted anywhere.
2. The Chase (The Atmosphere Choice)
For a space that feels open and airy rather than stuffy, The Chase is my go-to.
The Setup: I highly recommend buying out the newly renovated patio. It is a gorgeous space, beautifully decorated. On a beautiful day, the floor-to-ceiling windows make you feel like you are dining outside while maintaining the comfort of the indoors. The windows can also be opened on a days with good weather. I have been so impressed that I have also done complete buyouts of this venue.
The Contact: Kelly Dalton, Director of Sales and Events. She is amazing and always oversees my events personally. She has her eye on everything and will even roll up her sleeves and pitch in to direct traffic for furniture delivery if needed! She does whatever it takes to ensure things run smoothly.
3. ONE Restaurant (The Flow Choice)
Located in the heart of Yorkville, ONE offers a level of intimacy that is hard to find.
The Logistics: The larger private dining room is completely private and features its own separate foyer. This is critical for event flow—you can use the foyer for arrival cocktails before moving into the room for dinner.
The Contact: Kate Hobson, Senior Events Manager. She is absolutely amazing to work with. Her superpower is flexibility—she will make changes needed up to the very last minute to ensure the event goes smoothly. Having a partner who doesn't panic when plans shift is invaluable.
The Experience: It is intimate, quiet, and the service is impeccable. It allows for conversation without fighting background noise, which is essential for sensitive board discussions or if you have guest speakers.
4. Canoe (The "Wow" Factor)
When you need to impress out-of-town board members, Canoe remains the undisputed champion.
The View: It is simply stunning. I have managed both private dining room bookings and full restaurant buyouts here, and the impact of that skyline view never fades.
The Contact: Andrea Hanifen, Associate Director of Event Sales for Oliver & Bonacini. She is my main contact for the O&B group and she is amazing. She goes out of her way to ensure my events run smoothly. No matter which O&B space I am at, having Andrea in my corner means I know I will be well looked after.
5. Salon (The Culinary Choice)
Part of the Alo Group, Salon brings Michelin-level standards to a private setting.
The Space: This is a completely private dining space that feels like a hidden jewel. It is absolutely beautiful and intimate—perfect for smaller, food-focused executive teams.
The Access: This is a very hard reservations to secure. My contact is Kyle Burch, General Manager at Alobar Yorkville. Even though this spot is incredibly difficult to get into, Kyle always works with me to secure access, ensuring my clients get to reserve the space when we need it.
